Application procedure
Please complete the application form in full. Only applications submitted via the application form can be considered.
Please inform us immediately of any changes to your details (email, telephone number, address); this is the only way we can notify you if we are able to offer you a place. If we are able to offer you a place, we will contact you by email (rooms are allocated from mid-June for the winter semester and from mid-December for the summer semester). In the offer, you will receive a deadline within which you must contact us to let us know whether you would like to accept the flat or not. If we do not hear from you, we will delete your application, as we assume that you have already found a flat. Please register again for each semester.
Please note that registering does not entitle you to a room!
Duration of the period of residence
Tenancy agreements are generally limited to a period of up to four years.
Final cleaning
For hygienic reasons, the curtains, shower curtains and mattress covers are cleaned after the tenant has moved out. An amount of € 65.00 (single room) or € 75 ( shared flat) is to be paid for this. This amount will be deducted from the deposit.
Household insurance
The owners are not liable for damage to the residents' property if it is caused by damage to the building, such as a burst water pipe. It is therefore advisable to take out your own household contents insurance if there is no longer any insurance cover provided by your parents.
Liability insurance
As the tenant, you are fully liable for any damage to the rented property that occurs during your tenancy. We strongly advise you to take out liability insurance for such cases.
Deposit
When you sign the tenancy agreement, you pay a deposit of € 600.00, which you will receive back without interest at the end of the tenancy. The interest accrued during your period of residence will be invested in the maintenance of the building.
Bring along
Duvet/pillow, bed linen, crockery/cutlery and your personal belongings.
Furnishing
The flats are furnished. You accept the furniture you find and cannot store it elsewhere. You are fully liable for any damage to the inventory as well as to the floor.
Internet, television, radio and telephone
An internet connection is available in every flat. You need to bring a router, which you connect on site. You have free choice of provider in our complex.
Likewise, a television connection is included in every flat. You are required by law to register your radio and television sets yourself; you can do this online at www.rundfunkbeitrag.de. In addition, every room has a telephone connection. You can register with a telecommunications company.
Common rooms
There is a common room with enough space for study groups, dance classes, table tennis etc.
House cleaning
Cleanliness is a priority in our houses. Our cleaning staff regularly clean common rooms, sanitary facilities as well as corridors and staircases. However, you are responsible for the cleanliness of your room.
